Here's a sneak peak at some of my final year Semester 1 college projects. The above are part of a large format calender designed to raise awareness of paper wastage and deforestation. The calender is printed on recycled newsprint stock.
Many thanks to Cian Mc Kenna for his help photographing the series. Check out his work over at www.smugairle.com

Check out the piece on me and my work in this months issue of the design magazine
Computer Arts (Issue 167- October issue). This is particularly awesome because I've been a huge fan of ComputerArts for many a year.
PS: Sorry for the lack of updates this month... I was on vacation in California for the past few weeks but I'll be putting up a load of new work very very soon.
Paul :-)

Feeling quite 'adventurous' in the lovely weather that we've been getting, I decided to venture out to do some night photography on the beach with my beloved Nikon. I spent an hour or so shooting some long exposure shots (30 seconds at f18 if I remember correctly) and all was good until the evil sand got into my lovely 18-135mm lens (sob sob). Lens is no longer detected by the camera and think it may be the camera graveyard (ie- trade-in at Conns cameras) for it.
Above is the last dying gasp of the camera. As an substitute I've been using my Lomo HOLGA film camera for the last couple of days. But, as luck would have it, I put down the full roll of film with 2 days of shots on my desk. Only later did I realise that there were another 20 rolls of film with old shots from years ago on my desk and that the new roll was somewhere in the middle of them. Bottom line is some photo lab is going to be making a pretty penny off me when I drop in all 20 rolls to be developed in the hope of finding my HOLGA roll.

It's been over 20 degrees outside, but for the duration of our 'heat-wave' I've been glued to my Mac finalising my new portfolio site. And finally, I have written the last line of CSS and here it is!The site is still a little lacking the work department but I've uploaded a selection for the moment, the rest will be on its way soon!
For anyone reading this who doesnt know me, my name is Paul and I'm a graphic design/illustrator from Dublin, Ireland... if you're really interested in reading more me about be check out the
About section. Of course, if your just want to check out my work just head over to the
Work section, whre you can view my online portfolio.
Anyway, that's enough for now. I'm going to updating this site regularly with my latest work (as I said earlier, I still have an ass-load of old stuff to put up also) and also my own little rants on current design and also some links to resources I use (textures, brushes, etc.).
Until next time! P
